Obituary

Albert orlando adams, 73, of charleston, passed away peacefully and with dignity, on april 1^st, 2018, at camc.

He was born on january 29, 1945 at st. Francis hospital. Son of herbert preston adams and inell alberta walker.

He was a graduate of west virginia state and proudly served in the u.S. Army. He worked his way from an auditor in the tax department to the director of the department of auditing and eventually the director of the department of highways for the state of west virginia. He was also a nationally recognized and accredited fraud examiner who received many awards and accolades in west virginia and throughout the country. He enjoyed the outdoors, sports, and simply being with those he loved.

Albert was loved by all and survived by his loving wife linda adams; brother, herbert adams and wife sharon; son, alex adams and wife sabrina; daughter, carolyn bystricki and husband rick; grandchildren alex adams ii, lena adams, jacob bystricki and emma bystricki.

A celebration of his life will be held on saturday, april 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.M. The arrangements are in the care of barlow bonsall funeral home, 1118 virginia st. E., charleston.
