Obituary

Altamont (al) h. Simpson died on october 15, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his wife, jean e. Simpson. Altamont resided in huntington, wv.

He is survived by his brothers, anthony simpson of charleston, wv and larry simpson of bridgeport, connecticut. He has several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was a member of alpha phi alpha fraternity, lodge 29 afm, american legion post # 177. He graduated from kimball high school and attended bluefield state college and graduated from mclain college of accounting.

He served in the us air force where he was an airman of the month two times. He also attended the first united methodist church of barboursville.

Memorial service will be held at noon, wednesday, november 8, 2017 at the encouragers fellowship church, 1630 doulton avenue, huntington, wv with bishop john a. Martin sr., and evangelist phyllis martin, pastor officiating.
