Obituary

Andre, Big Poppa, Buffy Bobby, Whimpey, The Godfather, gained his wings on Saturday, July 30, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Andre was born on March 2, 1958, to the late Carl and MonaSue Charlton. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School. Andre loved his family and friends dearly and would do whatever it took to keep everyone happy and smiling. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is preceded in death by; his brothers, Lil Carl, Randy and Ronnie Charlton; daughter Andrea Charlton.

He leaves to cherish is precious memories his children; Sequaya Hunter, Ronald Sayles, Shanika Carter (Jahvon) and Adrian Carter; his siblings, Cecil Charlton (Kelly Carpenter), Vicki (Donald) Williams and Kevin (Nancy) Charlton; 8 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted at Noon Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Levi 1st Missionary Baptist Church, 5125 Church Dr, Rand, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Due to COVID19, a mask will be required.
