Obituary

Ann mcclanahan davis, 82, of charleston, died on october 9, 2016, after a short illness.
A native charlestonian and lifelong resident, ann is preceded in death by her mother ann m. Davis, her father, sidney p. Davis, sr., and brother sidney p. “tote” davis, jr.
Ann graduated from charleston high school, and attended west virginia state college. She was an artist, floral designer, and loving parent to her two daughters, lisa domitrovich of san francisco, california and lee poe of asheville, north carolina.
Also surviving are sister-in-law kay davis of charleston, sister and brother-in-law lucinda and bill waterson of leland, nc, former husband andy domitrovich, grandsons jeffrey poe and elliot poe, nine nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.
Ann loved gardening, painting, books, art, and the movies, and had a heartfelt sense of humor she shared with family and friends. She was a kind and compassionate soul who will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in charleston on november 5.
