  1. Dear Karen and family, we were so very sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. I’ve known Barry from grade school, high school, as a coworker at Dahlgren and a friend and neighbor in King George. He was a fine man of principle and a wicked sense of humor. Also so proud of his children and grandchildren I am so glad we were able to sit and visit with you both at our reunion last year. I know he will sorely missed.
Sending you condolences and prayers during this sad time.
    Pat and Gary Blount

  2. We are so sorry for your loss. Keeping you in our prayers.

  3. Dear Karen,
We were both shocked and saddened at learning of Barry’s passing. Be assured that you have been much in our love and prayers. It seems that in many of our fondest memories you all are there. Barry and I were together from seventh grade through college — a dear friend indeed.
We had hoped to attend the service but circumstances here have hindered us from doing so. We will continue to pray for you in the coming days. You are so very special to us.
Yours with much love in Christ our Lord,
    Brant and Suzie Seacrist

  4. I am saddened to hear of Barry’s passing last week. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Barry was one of the first guys I met back in 1965 at the then Naval Weapons Lab in Dahlgren, Va. We played flag football and softball together (Barry was our ace pitcher) and later in life, played golf on many occasions in King George and Myrtle Beach. We socialized with Barry and Pat in those early years and they were delightful to be around. While I have never had the pleasure of meeting Barry’s second family, he described to me on many occasions how happy he was and, like all granddads, how proud he was of his grandson. He will be missed but not forgotten. Blessings to you all.
