Obituary

Benjamin Louis Sears, age 51, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on October 4, 2023.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Waneeta Sears; his brother, Dennis; his sister, Carrie, and two nieces, Tisa and Camille.

He leaves behind his oldest sister, Kate in Eatonton, Georgia; his brother, Lonnie in Charleston; his brother, Lindon in Duluth, Georgia, and his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Parker, Chelsea, Zoe, Dominique, Phillip, Lindsey, and their children.

Ben had many interests. He loved to read and learn all he could about the subjects. He loved cats, music and video games. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Even when he didn’t feel his best, he was concerned with others. Since childhood, he was always very friendly and never met a stranger.

Ben will be missed terribly by his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, West Virginia.
