Obituary
Brandon Joseph Huffman, 23, died on Friday, March 3, 2023, but his larger-than life persona and trademark stubbornness will not be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Bubby and his papaw, Ricky Huffman, Sr.
Brandon is survived by his surprisingly good liver, and both kidneys. In case it wasn’t clear, Brandon was an organ donor who was able to save two other lives through this tragedy, something I’d like to think he would be so proud of.
He took extreme pride in his only nephew, Benjamin Hayden Cooper, age 5, to whom he loved to pick on and aggravate.
Tremendous heartfelt thanks go to his truly compassionate and exceptional nurse, Carley, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, who spent his last days with him, as well as a special thanks to Jessica W. with CORE, who ensured he was provided with the upmost best possible care and respect.
He will forever be remembered as the comedian he was convinced he was.

Dear Family and Friends of Brandon,
My son Nate Lambert, was in the same class at John Adams and GW as Brandon. I had the sincere pleasure and FUN, of serving frequently as a substitute teacher in many of Brandon’s classes. He was above all, kind and gentle, playful in his class participation, and someone who you could not help falling in love with. In a word, Brandon was special.
My heart is with you as I find a special place for him to reside within my memories.
