Obituary

Loving mother Brenda June Price, 62, of Charleston, WV, earned her wings on February 16, 2026, following a long illness.

She was born on September 23, 1963, in Columbus, OH, to parents Ronald Walton and Rita (Carrier) Walton. Brenda and her family moved to Indiana when she was a child. While living in Indiana, she participated in many equestrian sports as a young woman. After moving to Charleston with her parents, she was employed with Avis Rent-A-Car at the WV International Yeager Airport.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Walton; grandparents, John and Leva Walton, and her special kitty companions, Tiki and Taboo.

Brenda is survived by her children, Dustin Price of Pennsylvania, who served in Kuwait as a member of the West Virginia Army National Guard, Jessica Price of the Charleston area, and Jennifer Price of the Charleston area; her granddaughter, Scarlet; her father, Ron Walton and his wife Brenda of South Charleston, and the father of her children, William Price of the Charleston area.

Brenda enjoyed spending time with her children. They would often spend the day at the local park eating pizza and having laughs, a tradition that was continued throughout her life.

Brenda will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
