Brenda K (Green) Ward
February 24, 1949 – December 27, 2022

Brenda passed peaceful on December 27, 2022, at the age of 73 with her daughters by her side after battling a long illness.

She was born on February 24, 1949, to the late Arnold Green and Lilly Belle (Allen) Green of Cabin Creek WV.

Brenda was a very strong woman who worked in the service/hospitality industry for many years. She was a long-time employee of Knights Inn in Kanawha City as well as a food service provider at various establishments. She made several friends over the years and many of which became like family to her.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother Dallas Green of Miami WV.

She is survived by her daughters Dawn Ford (Tim) of Fuquay Varina NC and Nedra Foster (Shelby) of Eskdale WV. Grandsons and Granddaughters, Tyler (Kortni) Foster, Destiny Foster (Nick), Jonathan Ford, Shelbie Foster, Gracie Foster, and Alex Ford. One Great Grandson Wyatt Foster, who always made sure “mamaw” had oreo cookies for “them” to eat. Her brothers Arnold Duane Green (Judy) of Franklinton, NC and Michael D Green (Beverly) of Miami, WV. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved very much.

Per her request her body will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
