Obituary

Bruce Harold Campbell, 70, of Paint Creek, WV, passed away on December 15, 2024.

He was a retired construction worker who went to work for his dad out of high school and worked until 2012. He loved hunting, fishing, his rock-n-roll music, and telling stories. He was a loving son, father, uncle, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Jack Campbell; mother, Deloris Jones, as well as his brothers, Vernon Campbell, John Paul Campbell, Jackie Campbell, and Homer Pennell; sisters, Katherine Pennell and Kristie Campbell, and son, Christopher Campbell.

He is survived by grieving companion of 33 years, Robin Holmes; sister-in-law, Sharon Seaton; brothers, Todd Pennell and Vince Pennell; son, Brandon (Rachel) Campbell; daughters, Michelle Campbell and Alisha Campbell; step daughters, Mandy (Eddie) Bias and Misty Holmes; grandchildren, Allyson White, Amy Marshall, April Kinison, Dayna Johnson, Jasmin (Nicole) Lilly, Andrew Lilly, Braydon Campbell and Paislee Brown, and great-grandchildren, RJ, Brynleigh, Thoenix and Kynleigh, as well as nieces and nephews.

Bruce will be cremated and his ashes will be buried with the rest of his family at a later date.

Celebration of Life service will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV.
