Obituary

Bryan Edward Thompson, 42, of South Charleston, WV, passed away January 7, 2026.

He was born on January 5, 1984, the son of Jeffrey Edward Thompson and Michelle (Greene) Thompson.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Rae Thompson.

Bryan leaves a son, Bryan Tyler Thompson; grandmother, Barbara Greene; siblings, Jeffery Thompson (Caroline Thompson), Franki Thompson (Maddox Boyd and Riley Osborne), Houston Thompson (Ashleigh Thompson, Amelia “Milly” Thompson); Aunts, Sandy Rana (Hebeeb Rana), Cathy Bougher (Bo Bougher); Uncles, Kelly Thompson (Kim Thompson), Allen Burns; and cousins, Trisha Lopez, Danny Lupson (Kaden Lupson, Peyton Lupson), Jeremy Lupson, Molly Thompson. He also leaves behind many friends that loved him.

Bryan was employed with Dunbar Sanitary Services.
