Obituary
Budda McDonald, 53, of Charleston, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with his wife, Lisa McDonald, by his side, on their 25th wedding anniversary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Shirley McDonald.
Budda is survived by his beautiful wife of 28 years, Lisa McDonald; his children and grandchildren, son, Michael (Whittney) and Maggie and Hunter; son, Lil’ Budda (Michelle); son, Brandon (Emily) and Easton, Caysen and Lilly; daughter, Lindsey (Jason) and Jace, JoJo Journie and Jameson; daughter, Heather; son, Tyler (Kaylein) and Makkiah, Tamzyn, Esmee and Talon; son, Josh and Dominique; daughter, Nikole; grandchildren, Abigail, Kolson, Kayden and Ocean; brothers, Jody “Doc” McDonald (Brandy) and Robert “Rob” McDonald (Roenna) and his sister, Terri (and family).
Budda had a big heart, loved his family and friends deeply, and left behind more stories, laughs, adventures and memories than we could ever fit into a lifetime.
Memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the family center at Coonskin, by the pond, 2000 Coonskin Drive, Charleston, WV.
Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to Lisa’s Go-Fund-Me.
