Charlie’s hobbies were golfing and mechanically restoring antique cars. Charlie re-built a 1919 Sizaire-Berwick 25/50 Model and a 1950 Bentley Mark VI. Charlie and Sadie enjoyed driving the Bentley across the country to classic Rolls-Royce car meets. Sadie passed in 1992 after a long illness.
In 1994, Charlie re-married Carol (Snyder) Swartz of Charleston. Charlie and Carol loved to travel abroad, attend the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Rolls-Royce car meets and Baptist Temple church services. Charlie was a Christian and member of the Baptist Temple.

Drema: Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Dad made it to his 98th birthday! It is a difficult time but he is in a better place! Dad and Carol were at Arthur B Hodges Memory Care Unit at Edgewood. She will remain there as far as I know since she is settled in there. The staff at Hodges was wonderful! Hospice has been with dad for approximately six months; he had several “scares” but always bounced back. In December he just couldn’t recover; God was calling him home. I will deeply miss him! THank you for all you did for them in selling their house; you were awesome as always!! Love you. Betty Keller
