Obituary
Charles Melvin Ballard, Jr., born October 31, 1933, passed away February 10, 2025, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center and entered into the presence of Jesus.
Charles was raised in Leewood, WV, by his loving parents, the late Charles Melvin Ballard and Charlotte (Duncan) Ballard. Following graduation from Stonewall Jackson High School, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Charles worked and retired from Chemical Leaman Tank Lines.
Left to grieve his passing are his son, Michael, and grandson, Tyler Kent Ballard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, JoAnn Cravens Ballard, and his son, Kent.
The family will hold a private graveside service.

Charlie will be missed. We had breakfast at McDonald’s daily and then he got sick. He was such a great guy. Always happy
Sorry to see there is no funeral. He had lots of friends at McDonald’s and church
