Obituary

Charles Watt Richardson, III, of St. Albans, WV, passed away August 28, 2023.

He was born in Webster Springs, WV, on February 13, 1952, the son of Ira Preston Richardson and LaMona Carroll (Jones) Richardson.

Charles graduated from St. Albans High School, St. Albans, and attended college at West Virginia State University for two years. In 1973, he married Nanette Cook and they have two children. Charles worked for Appalachian Power Company for 10 years and for the City of Charleston, and later, Waste Management for 30 years.

Preceding him death are his parents and his brother, Gregory Richardson.

Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nanette; two adult children, Nancy (Nick Allen) of St. Albans and John of Morgantown, WV, and his two brothers, Randolph “Randy” Richardson and Ira “Preston” (Juli) Richardson, Jr.
Charlie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
