Obituary

Chrishawn Perkins, age 32, born December 27th, 1991, passed away August 8th, 2024, in Charleston, West Virginia. Chrishawn was born to Tyrone and Shelia Perkins.

He was a graduate of South Charleston High School. Chrishawn was known for his musical talents and passion for music. Chrishawn was very outgoing and loved exploring and going on adventures in life. His family and music were his biggest passions. Chrishawn always had the ability to make anyone smile, and his personality was magnetic anywhere he went.

He is survived by his three children, Tanylee Perkins, Tylee Sherrod, and Azariah Perkins; his siblings, Christopher Perkins, Christina Perkins, Christian Perkins, Chrisjamar Perkins, Christal Perkins, Brianna Smith, Brandon Smith, Nakia Summers, Kanisha Summers, and Antonio Summers; his grandmother, Recheta Perkins; aunts, Tanya Singletary, Sherlia Perkins of Greensboro, North Carolina, Alice McLean Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Michelle White of Kansas City, Missouri, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All family, friends and others are invited to Church of God in Christ of Charleston, located at 3001 7th Avenue, Charleston, WV 25387, to reminisce and honor the life of Chrishawn. The service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 17th, 2024.

Visitation will begin one hour prior at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations in the honor of Chrishawn.
