Obituary

Corey Michael Pridemore, 33 years old, of South Charleston, WV, earned his wings on November 25, 2023. Our beloved Corey walked through the gates of Heaven with the same smile. All who knew him loved him.

Corey had such a forgiving heart, a true example of turning the other cheek. He would try to lift others’ spirits even when he was feeling down. Corey loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He will be greatly missed, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Corey was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Macel Pridemore, and his father, Clinard Bowles.

Left to carry on his memory is his mother, Robin Kidd; daughters, Jeweliana Marshall and Aubriella Pridemore; siblings, Jonathan (Summer) Pridemore, Christopher Pridemore, Tyler Warrick, Nathaniel Pridemore, Raven Gordon, Jason Bowles, Ramona Bowles; the love of his life and soul mate, Teylor Staats; special cousins, Tendra and Carla Robinson; special aunt, Rita Robinson, and a host of family and friends who will always love him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV.

Visitation will begin one hour prior at the funeral home.
