Obituary

Darryl L. Henry, 64, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, after a long illness.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Brenda (Anderson-Hunter).

Darryl was a valued and loyal employee of the Covenant House.

A father of four children, two sons, Darryl M. and Travell, and two daughters, Trina and Portia Murrell, all of Dayton, Ohio, Darryl is also survived by five brothers, Michael, John, Jerry, Leroy, and Jay, all of Charleston, and three sisters, Deborah of Columbus, Ohio, and Jean and Rhonda of Charleston.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, July 6, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 432 Shrewsbury Street, Charleston, with Pastor Paul Dunn officiating.

Visitation will begin one hour prior at the church.
