I Would Like To Offer My Condolences On The Passing Of Doc Dave. We Met When He, Dr. Fran Simone, And I Did A Presentation On Substance Abuse And Addiction For The Uc Graduate School Of Pharmacy A Couple Of Years Ago. I Was Impressed With His Background And Intellect. I Really Enjoyed Hearing About His Struggles With Substance Abuse. Like Doc Dave, I Am A Long-Time €Œfriend Of Bill W€. I Know First-Hand About The Trials And Tribulations Of Both Drug And Alcohol Addiction. I Have Been Sober For Over 20 Years Now, But I Spent A Large Part Of My Life As An Abuser And Addict. I Was Saddened To Hear That His Health Had Been Deteriorating Recently, And Now He Has Departed This Earthly Life. At Least Now His Struggles Are Over. I Hope You Can Take Some Comfort In That. Again, I Am So Sorry To Hear About Doc Dave’S Passing.
