I will never forget the first time I met Dave at the mine. I heard his voice on the radio and thought to myself, that is one big dude. Then Dave showed up and I was floored. Little did I know just how big of a guy he was in his heart. Best boss I ever had and we had a lot of great times. Dave you definitely left a mark on me and I will never forget you bud. Rest easy my friend.

I didn’t know you, but I do know all too well having a son about your age, what it was like living with diabetes. It wasn’t an easy road, and you tried your best. Rest in Peace David. You are in my prayers.

I’m really going to miss ya little buddy! I have a lot of great memories with you. Actually, way too many to list. I don’t think you had a single enemy and always made hard days at work much more enjoyable. You were taken way too soon. I always tried watching out for you whether you believed that or not at times. You were definitely a one of a kind. I’ll never forget your laugh. We had a lot of good times and laughs for sure. I pray that god is holding you tight and I know that we will meet again one day! Until then ol bud you rest in peace! Love ya and going to miss you Davey!
