Freda was a fun loving soul and had a great sense of humor. She would take me to the movies and go do girl stuff after my Mother passed away. I know you and my Dad are in heaven rejoicing. Rest In Peace my sweet cousin.

  2. Our sweet cousin, Freda was such a beautiful soul. We always enjoyed visiting with her when we traveled to Huntington, W.Va. The love that she had for her family was so strong. We will be thinking of Christine and the rest of her family on Saturday. Many prayers are being sent your way.

  4. I met Freda many, many years ago when I visited my Aunt Georgie and Uncle John Martin in Huntington. She was always smiling and very witty! May her memory be eternal 🙏❤️

Freda was a frequent substitute teacher at Watts Elementary School in Charleston, where I was the principal. My first thought of her when hearing of her passing was her lovely smile. She was kind hearted, easy going, and cooperative. I never drive by her apartment building that I don’t think of her. Rest in peace, good teacher.
