Obituary

Fred a. Myers jr., 87, of elkview, died thursday, august 11, 2016, after a long illness.
He was a retired funeral director and owner of myers funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, gretis l. Patton myers on june 21, 2013.
He is survived by daughter, diane myers keeling (mark); and granddaughter, melissa keeling; son, frederick “rick” myers, (lora); grandchildren, kelli myers chandler, (fred), frederick “rick” myers jr., (carrie), sierra myers and olivia myers; great-grandchildren, ethan, elliott, harley, kristin and aimee; special friends, bob and sheila davis; and son, jimmy; and loyal canine companion, dandy.
A joint memorial service for fred and gretis, will be held on monday, august 22, from 6 to 8 p.M. At barlow-bonsall funeral home, charleston, wv with pastor mike harper officiating. Service will be at 7:30 p.M.
The family requests flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be sent to the kanawha county humane, 1248 greenbrier st., charleston, wv 25311.
