Obituary
George Edward King, Sr., 86, passed away at home in Gardnerville, Nevada, on the morning of Friday, February 20, 2026.
The eldest of the three children of Clarence Mahone King and Suzanne White King, George was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. Mr. King is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Sue Levy King; his children, George E. King, Melody M. King, and William F. Schultz; his granddaughter, Josephine E. King, and his favorite sister, Jean McClelland. He is also survived by cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
He will be laid to rest at 1:00 p.m. this coming week, March 6, 2026, at Graceland Memorial Park in South Charleston, West Virginia, alongside his parents and his brother, Stephen C. King of Houston, Texas.
