Obituary

Gregory Paul Arnott Jr., 54, of Charleston, WV, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert and Thelma Hoffman, and his father, Gregory Arnott Sr.

Gregory is survived by his mother, Evelyn Adkins; the three children he helped raise, Shania “Mimi” Evans, Ayanna Bailey and Jeremiah Derede; sisters, Loretta Arnott and Caprica Fletcher; brothers, Jonathan Arnott and Robbi Jones.

A graduate of Dunbar High School, he was a mechanic and carpenter by trade. Gregory was a quiet and gentle giant, always helping others in need.

Celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Hissom Tabernacle Church, Charleston. Per
Gregory wishes, he was cremated.
