Obituary
Harry harless, jr., 73, of charleston, passed away on march 4, 2015 in the hands of his loving wife at
hubbard house.
He was preceded in death by his parents pauline robinson and harry harless, sr. Along with half- sister
linda teel and half- brother harold harless.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 48 years, cecilia harriet, son brian harry (leighann) and son
eric scott. He also leaves behind the greatest joy of his life which was his 2 grandchildren, jackson and
dominick. He cherished each and every sporting event he could attend and each phone call. He also
leaves behind half-brother donald hairless, half-sisters, kathleen sullivan, freda browning, and helen
pomeroy.
Harry served in the us air force where he was a b52 aircraft mechanic. He retired as fleet coordinator
from columbia gas in 1997 and had a retirement job with lowes until 2005.
Harry was a people person and never met a stranger whether we were in niagara falls or myrtle beach
there was always someone who knew him. He loved to be of help to anyone who needed him. He will
be sadly missed by the numerous friends he had and the family hopes they will continue to have great
memories of the times he spent with them.
The family would like to thank the nurses on 4 north at camc for their kindness and great care of harry
while he was in the hospital, to dr. Nease for all that she has done over the years, and to the nurses and
staff at hubbard for their kindness and care to both harry and the family during the short time he was
there.
In keeping with harry’s wishes there will be no service; instead there will be a celebration of life for
friends and family to be held at a later date. He felt people should be together and enjoy each other in
life.

I Did Not Know Mr. Harless But I Know How Hard It Can Be To Lose A Loved One In Death So I Wanted To Say I Am Very Sorry For Your Loss. The Scripture That Has Given Me Comfort At Times Like This Is The One Found At Revelation 21:4 That Says, “And He Will Wipe Out Every Tear From Their Eyes, And Death Will Be No More, Neither Will Mourning Nor Outcry Nor Pain Be Anymore. The Former Things Have Passed Away.” So God Has Promised That In The Very Near Future We Will Never Have To Experience The Pain Associated With Death Anymore. I Pray That This Gives The Family Some Comfort During This Difficult Time.

Harriett, We Were So Sorry To Hear Of Harry’S Passing. We Remember Seeing You Both In Dr. Mccowan’S Office Some Time Ago, But Didn’T Know That Harry’S Health Had Changed. We Are Thinking Of You And Your Family, And Hope To See You Again Soon. Our Deepest Sympathy.
