Obituary
Heather Renee Blankenship, born June 13, 1976, in Charleston, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2026, from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shelby Blankenship; paternal grandparents and best friends, Hank and Dolores Blankenship, and maternal grandparents, Frank and Shirley Donato.
Heather is survived by her father, Paul Blankenship of Swiss, West Virginia; her son, Tyler Blankenship (Megan), her son, Trevor Keith (Nina), and her daughter, Sarah Blankenship (Jimmy); her only sister, Cassie (David) Stone of Morrisville, West Virginia; her beloved and favorite nephew, Isaac Blankenship; and her cherished grandbabies, Bailey Tolliver, Wyatt Blankenship, Ella Blankenship and Emma Blankenship, along with an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Heather fought a long hard battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer which she took like a champ. She was an extremely loving, kind and beautiful woman inside and out – loved by many. Her life was cut short but Jesus knew it was her time. She will be missed by all.
Family and friends may attend a memorial service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on April 11, 2026, at Swiss Methodist Church in Swiss, West Virginia.

I have been and will continue to pray for all of you. Heather had a big heart, and was a help to me in so many ways. I miss her, and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven. It’s not goodbye, just see you again soon.
