Obituary
Howard K. “Coach D” / “Skeet” Daniels, 83, of Charleston, WV, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023, at Levi First Missionary Baptist Church, 5125 Church Drive, Charleston, WV 25306. Interment will immediately follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, WV.
Visitation for family and friends will be two hours prior to the service, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Howard’s name be made to Capital High School Baseball Team Booster’s Club, “Cougar Ball Pen Club.”

He was my basketball coach at Lincoln Jr. High around 1975. I always liked and admired him. May you rest in peace, coach.

As an umpire, I worked numerous games for Coach Daniels. He treated me fairly. Blessings and comfort to the family during this difficult time.
