Obituary

Iva jean lemon, 85, of st albans, died april 23, 2014, at hubbard hospice house in south charleston after a short illness.
She was a retired food service employee of clayton general hospital of riverdale, ga and of charleston general hospital. She was a member of bethany baptist church in st albans. She enjoyed helping care for older people after she retired. She was generous to all charities for many years. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed her trip to hawaii.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, charles t lemon on march 28, 1974.
She is survived by her daughters, gloria cagle of hampton, ga and debbie bird and dallas miller, of st albans; grandson, doug and ongie bird of ga; granddaughters, cindy and danny smallwood of ga, erin and jamie miller of morgantown; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Memorial service will be 3:00 pm on sunday, may 4th at bethany baptist church, grant avenue, st albans with rev. Butch leadmon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
