Obituary

Jack g. Elmore, 76 of oak hill passed away monday, december 19, 2016 at cabell-huntington hospital. Jack was born october 10, 1940 in wheeling, wv to john emerson elmore and marjorie evelyn reynolds elmore. Mr. Elmore was master machinist who retired from the fayette county board of education as a shop teacher having taught at both collins high school and fayette institute of technology where he was instrumental in getting a machine shop program at the vo-tech. Jack was also an excellent mathematician who tutored many students over the years in all phases of math used in electricity, construction, and machining, as well as everyday life. In addition to being preceded in death by his parents are his brothers john and jimmy elmore, sister, helen and wives hazel and peggy. Those left to cherish his memory are wife beulah “cissy” elmore of oak hill, stepchildren jennifer and anthony, sisters, irene ciocco of nj, betty finch of mi, nieces regina elmore, lori elmore morian and nephews john william elmore and joseph ciocco. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.M. Friday january 27th at high lawn memorial park in mausoleum #1 with interment to follow in high lawn memorial park. The family will receive family and friends a half hour before the service at the cemetery mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to high lawn memorial park to assist the family with expenses.
