Obituary

Jack mills martin, 84, of charleston, formally of moundsville, passed away thursday, november 24, 2016 at camc memorial hospital.
He was retired general manager of new york life in charleston, wv.
Jack graduated from moundsville high school, attended west liberty college and was the youngest member of the moundsville elks.
He moved to charleston in 1968 and was a member of the park avenue church of christ, where he was loved by his fellow church members and friends.
Additionally, jack loved gardening, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his sons, john mills “jay” and larry david martin; and brother, arch paul “skip” martin.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, gail; son, brent (yvonne) martin of beaver; grandchildren, david and jack martin; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12 noon monday, november 28, 2016 at barlow bonsall funeral home, charleston. Burial will follow with a graveside service at 3 p.M. At the shockley hill cemetery, hinton in summers county. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers ““ the family suggests donations may be made in memory of jack to: kanawha hospice care, 1606 kanawha blvd., w charleston, wv 25387.

Unfortunately, We Will Be Taking Our Granddaughter Home To Fl On Sunday And Will Be Unable To Attend The Funeral On Monday. We Have You In Our Thoughts And Prayers.
