Obituary

Jack Randall Bossie, 83, of Charleston, WV, passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2023, surrounded by his family after an extended illness.

Jack attended Charleston Catholic High School, where he played football and graduated in 1959. Jack served in the U.S. Army and was a proud veteran. He founded his own electrical and general contracting company, Bossie Inc., where he and his wife worked for many years. He was a dedicated family man, an active member of his community, and a devout Catholic. His warm smile, infectious laugh, and unwavering generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by the love of his life, Carolyn, who he was married to for 62 years; their three children, Jack “Randy” Bossie II (Diana), Richard Bossie (Carmen), and Andrea Castillo (Alvin); his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Becky Lemley. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edith Bossie; brothers, George and Frank; and sisters, Learlene Yates and Phyllis Feldhaus.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
