Obituary

James A. Via, 81, of Charleston, WV, passed away October 11, 2023, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Sissonville, WV.

He was born at Camp Creek, WV, on June 13, 1942, to the late Dorse and Sophie Via. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wilmer Via, Bobby Via and Linden Via, and sisters, Norma Walker, Betty Via, Loretta Posey, and Joy Holdren.

James is survived by brothers Willard Via of Martinsville, VA, David Via (wife Ann) of Lancaster, VA, and Billy Via (wife Shirley) of Sissonville, along with several nephews and nieces.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
