Obituary
James alan pahl, 59, of charleston, passed away on thursday, june 22, 2017, at home.
James was the youngest son of helen l. Walker and a member of christ church united methodist.
He was an avid day stock trader. James was a graduate of st. Albans high school, received his b.S. Degree from west virginia university and his mba in business finance from vanderbilt university. Upon graduation, he lived in st. Louis, mo., and then portland, ore., before returning to charleston eight years ago.
He is survived by his mother, helen; and brother, phillip (deborah) pahl of concord, n.C.
James was an avid fan and follower throughout his life of wvu sports and always remembered fondly his fraternity days at west virginia.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.M. Friday, june 30, at barlow bonsall funeral home, 1118 virginia street, east, charleston, with rev. Dr. Jay parkins officiating. Burial will follow at sunset memorial park, south charleston. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
