Obituary
James F. Painter, II, 51, of Charleston, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024, from complications due to a stroke five years prior.
Jimmie was an avid fan of Randy Moss and Chad Pennington, as well as Marshall University football. Prior to his disability, he was employed by Dayton Appliance Parts and Walmart.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, James F. Painter and Carolyn S. Moore, and step-father, Robert L Zebley, II.
He is survived by his sister, Pamela Carpenter (Chris Carrier); two daughters, Kayla Painter (Johnathen Redman) and MacKenzie Painter; three grandchildren, Adilynn, Paisley, and Owen Redman, as well as leaving behind aunts, an uncle, cousins, a niece, two nephews, and his dog, J.J., and cat, J.C..
At this time there will be no services.

I was honored to have Jimmie as a very good friend for many years. I looked forward to our daily conversations while he was employed at Dayton Appliance Parts. He was the best sales rep I’ve ever had in 37 years of business. Prayers for peace and comfort to all of the family.
