Obituary

James “Jimbo” Austin Combs entered this world on November 11, 1956, and went back into the loving arms of Jesus on February 1, 2025.

Jimbo was born in Charleston, WV, but grew up in Melbourne, FL. He graduated from Eau Gallie High and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After being honorably discharged, he started his own stucco company. He eventually settled in West Virginia.

He leaves behind his mother, three brothers, and one sister. His daughters, Deanna and Ashley, and sons, Dennis, Jimmy, and Michael, also survive him, along with several grandkids.

Jimbo always considered his friends family. To know Jimbo was to love him. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. Thankfully, he won’t need a shirt to hide his wings in heaven. We can picture him now, twirling his peanut Amber Joy! Rest easy now, Jimbo. Your work on earth is done.
