Obituary
James robert (bobby) fridley, 67, passed away friday, december 9, 2016 at home following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Preceded in death by his parents, earl c. Fridley and katherine (martin) fridley; his second wife, pamela (wolfe) fridley; and brothers, kenneth l. And ronnie d. Fridley.
He leaves behind his wife, chloie fridley; stepmother, carol hancock; his children, edith godbey, earl fridley, katherine jarrett, and james w fridley; siblings, roy challoner, earl w. Fridley, gary thompson, barbara nottingham, joseph fridley, sue dunlap, frederick fridley, brenda clay and paul fridley; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Bobby remarried his first wife, chloie, last year. She was the love of his life and being reunited with her and his family gave him great peace and comfort in his final days.
Bobby loved the outdoors. Fishing, canoeing, and hunting arrowheads were some of his favorite hobbies. He was an animal lover and cherished his three beloved dogs. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A remembrance service will be held at queen shoals full gospel church , wednesday, december 14, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to assist mrs. Fridley with his final expenses.
