Obituary

Jasinto “adrian” guevara, 77 of chelyan, wv passed away tuesday, november 28, 2017 peacefully at home with his family by his side.

Adrian retired as a well tender in 1977 from columbia gas. He served in the united states army as a paratrooper with the 101 airborne division. Adrian was a graduate of centre college.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to travel with his wife judy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, candelario and josephine guevara; sister, diana, and brothers, james, roger and al.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years; judy guevara of chelyan; two sons, michael and finance’ debra barr; and christopher and wife judith; sisters, sylvia marino, patricia guevara and lucy tulley; brothers, ernest, arthur and bill guevara; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.M. Tuesday, december 5, 2017 at barlow bonsall funeral home with the rev. Fr. Brian j. Crenwelge, ma, mdiv. Burial will follow in donel c. Kinnard state veterans cemetery, dunbar, wv.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    My Sincere Condolences To Judy, Mike, And Chris. I Am So Sorry To Hear Of Adrain’S Passing. My Thoughts And Prayers Go Out To All Of His Family And Friends. Adrain Was A Very Good Father-In-Law While I Was In The Family And I Considered Him A Friend Even In The Years To Follow. He Will Missed By Mike And Judy On Their Many Fishing Trips, In Which He Loved Doing. He Is No Longer Suffering. May God Bless All Of You During The Days Ahead.
