Obituary
Jeffrey Turner Lindenmuth, 68, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully, August.13th 2022, following an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer with his brother, Mark; sister-in-law, Susie; Ex-wife, Paula and his nephew, Allan (Melodie) Lindenmuth were at his side.
Jeff was born on August 29th 1953 to the late Iven Perry Lindenmuth and Helen (Turner) Lindenmuth.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Perry (Pete) Lindenmuth; and nephew, Mark E Lindenmuth Jr.; and his first wife, Debra (McCamant).
He is survived by his brother, Mark (Susie) Lindenmuth of Brunswick OH; sister, Virginia Maynor of Eagle Lake FL; son, Jamey (Melissa) Kahle of New Bethlehem PA; Becky Bauer, South Park PA. Beverly Ditullo Bethal Park Pa. and And Jena Lindenmuth Glass Port PA Ex-wife Paula Chinn of St. Albans WV Stepdaughter Kerra Beane of St Albans WV. Five Grandchildren, Ashleigh,Morgan, Tiffany, Madison and Logan. One Great-Grandson Caden and One Step-Grandson Jackson. And numerous nieces and nephews . And his special friend Selina Pauley.
He retired after 30 years at LabCorp in New Jersey, Pittsburgh PA and Charleston WV.
He also worked for Capital City Auto Auction for the past eight years until he became to ill to work.
Jeff was to put it mildly an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. And a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He loved all sports and music. He was extremely happy to have made it to the Stonewall Jackson class of 1972 50th anniversary reunion, where he was able to say goodbye to his friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and slingshot.
He will be missed by all who knew him. We want to give special thanks to the staff at Hubbard House Hospice and CAMC Memorial Hospital. And all the friends and family who bought him food, took him shopping and took him to Chemo and Doctors appointments in Charleston and Columbus.
A special thanks to Debbie Herbert, Regina A. Squires , Judy Bennington and Jim Caudill for being with him when I was back in Ohio; and also Beth Andrews for all of the cards and with words of encouragement; and all of our cousins who helped him.
Service will be held in the Chapel at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans at 2:00 PM Sat. September the 10th with the Rev. Dave Clark of Belle Nazarene officiating.
