Jerri louise wilson, naylor passed away march 23, 2018 at 5am in the appreciated care of the huntington rehabilitation center huntington west virginia. We are most grateful for their care of our mother…She was 81 years old her birthday march 29. She was born in charleston west virginia march 29,1937. She was the daughter of the late jesse r wilson and eleanor reed wilson of charleston, west virginia.
She is preceded by death by her loving husband, arnold r naylor of washington, pennsylvania. She loved him so. Her loving family who preceded her death, her brother barry r wilson born in charleston, residing in bellingham, wa.
Survived by her loving children; her daughter, kc r. Wilson (kim haynes -leverson) born in charleston west virginia. Her sons, carl j. Leverson of spring, texas, sean c leverson, of rolla, missouri, jay a. Leverson, of huntington, west virginia, eric t. Leverson of huntington, west virginia. Her loving grandchildren; christopher h leverson of austin texas, donald p leverson of new orleans louisiana ashley leverson of spring texas katy leverson of rolla missouri scott leverson of rolla missouri jacob leverson of rolla missouri.Her loving great grandchildren; christian a leverson of colorado springs colorado
jerri louise wilson born in charleston was a musician at age of 5 years old growing up on the west side teaching piano lessons at an early age and graduating stonewall jackson high school class of 54 went on to sing on charleston’s radio and play and sing in the calvary baptist church in charleston. Her father drove to california in 57-58 and led the 1st international team of union carbide if south charleston so she remarried donald r leverson who she went in to entertain and have her lifetime career playing music. She was on many shows played in the circuit and helped those along the way get started. Like glen campbell and played with many like chad adkins and loretta lynn johnny cash … She wrote and composed and played on shows like art linkletter the ole bubble man… She relocated to the south new orleans louisiana and played many hotel circuits and also was very involved in her community la place louisiana and her church and she met her soul mate after a divorce, arnold r naylor. She retired moving on to seven points texas near dallas and then moved to jefferson, pennsylvania. Jerri and arnold had failing health which led both of them to be cared for by her children and came back to west virginia. She would always say ” she loved the beautiful hills that embraced her of west virginia but hoped she would see and go back to texas to be with her grandson, christopher. Although time is short sometimes in life where god calls us home, we remember her in loving memory as she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a good friend and a loving wife to arnold r naylor who she adored and was side by side upon her being called to rest.

we as a family want to extend our gratitude to especially thank huntington rehabilitation center and nursing home staff for caring for our sister, mother, wife.Ffor the many things they did to comfort her and care for her in her time if need.
There will be no funeral service at this time scheduled for jerri wilson-naylor. We ask that flowers not be sent at this time as we want as a family to place her cremation with her husband who is at the huntington rehabilitation and nursing home until which time they can join each other to celebrate their lives together.
