Obituary

Jesse Chester Inclenrock, Jr., 80, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in Charleston, West Virginia. Born on September 20, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jesse lived a life marked by devotion—to his family, his faith, and his work.

Jesse dedicated over four decades of service to CAMC Memorial Hospital. He began his career in maintenance and steadily advanced through the ranks to become a safety inspector before ultimately finding his niche in Information Services. There, he spent many years working with computers—a passion that extended beyond the workplace into his personal life.

A proud veteran, Jesse served his country during Vietnam. His sense of duty and commitment to service continued long after his military years. He was deeply involved in church life and community outreach. A longtime member of Harvest Time Church of God, Jesse attended many churches throughout his life and always placed God at the center of everything he did. Whether serving the less fortunate or lending a hand around the church, Jesse found joy in helping others.

Jesse had a natural talent for working with his hands and took great satisfaction in fixing things—whether it was a computer or something around the house. His love for technology was matched only by his love for people.

Above all else, Jesse cherished his family. He shared 58 loving years of marriage with Vinita Inclenrock. Together they raised two sons: Justin Inclenrock (Heather) and Jess Charles Inclenrock, who preceded him in death. Jesse’s heart overflowed with pride for his grandchildren—Lilly, Emilee, Jaden, Charlie, Everleigh, Elliott, and River—and he eagerly anticipated the arrival of an eighth grandchild, Cooper Inclenrock.

He is also survived by his sister, Jacqueline Inclenrock O’Dell, and numerous loving nieces and nephews who brought joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Chester Inclenrock, Sr., and Pauline Inclenrock; and sisters, Geraldine Kay Inclenrock Nichols and Rosetta Gwendolyn Inclenrock McCoy.

Jesse’s legacy is one of steadfast faith, tireless service, and deep familial love. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

May Jesse’s memory bring comfort to those who loved him and inspiration to all who were touched by his life. A Memorial Service will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on June 7, 2025, at Connection Point Church of God, 2390 Kanawha State Forest Drive, Charleston, West Virginia. Jesse will have a memorial service celebrating his life. His service will be led by Pastor Zack Anderson.

Justin and family I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man. He touched so many lives. Scott looked up to your dad. He thought highly of all of you. I prayed and asked God to put his loving arms around all of you and comfort you all through this time. If there is anything I can do please don’t hesitate to ask. My heart and prayers goes out to you all.
