Obituary

Jesse Hall Grose, 79 years old, went home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2024, at Clay Healthcare Center, Ivydale, West Virginia.

Jesse was born in Lockwood, Nicholas County, West Virginia, to the late Raymond Hall Grose and Hollie M. Grose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert Grose, Clemer Grose, and sisters, Rebecca J. Grose and Barbara E. Conley.

Jesse is survived by his brother, Cecil A Grose of Clendenin, West Virginia, and sister, Carolyn S. Whitt of Asheville, North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Jesse worked as a Laborer and as a Carrier for Charleston Newspapers, Charleston, West Virginia, for several years. He enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles in his spare time. Also, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was very kind and loved by all that knew him.

His health started to decline suddenly in December 2023. He was lovingly cared for by the kind caring staff at Clay Healthcare Center. Jesse was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
