Obituary

Jonelle Lee Sharp, 48, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on November 5, 2024, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael G. Sharp and Cynthia A. (Jones) Sharp; her nephew, Dylan Sharp, and her granddaughter, Jessica Brookbank.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Creavia Sharp (Lester Sr.) of Charleston; her children, James Smith Jr. (Jennifer) of Minnesota, Ashley Smith (Elvin) of Pennsylvania and Michael Smith (Rochelle) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Alicia Mitchell of Charleston and Amayah Smith of Pennsylvania; niece and nephews, Joshua Sharp (Patra), Chris Sharp, Anna Sharp, Ryan Sharp and Lester Wills Jr., all of Charleston; great-niece and nephews, Zy’meria Sharp, Joshua Sharp II, Josiah Sharp, Zy’aria Sharp, Jospeh Sharp and Brooklyn Haddox.

Jonelle enjoyed spending time with her friends, listening to all genres of music and having her drinks. In her quiet time, she enjoyed adult coloring books and talking to her sister on the phone.

Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the home of her sister, located at 1201 Griffin Drive, Apt. 33, Charleston, WV 25312.
