Obituary

Joseph franklin byrd, 53, of campbells creek, passed away tuesday, june 3, 2014, at camc general hospital.

He was a lifelong resident of campbells creek and was a disabled contractor. He was a graduate of dupont high school.

Joe loved to golf, fish and was an avid west virginia football fan as well as a nascar race fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, frank junior byrd and norma lee byrd.

He is survived by his brothers and their spouses, john (lisa) byrd of charleston, jeff (jennifer) byrd of charleston and jim (kathy) byrd of campbells creek, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.M. Thursday, june 5, at barlow bonsall funeral home with the rev. Jeff byrd officiating.

The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 7:30 p.M. Burial will take place in younger hollow cemetery, campbells creek.

The family would like to thank the staff of camc general hospital for all of the care given to our brother, joseph.
