Obituary

Joseph bennett, 63 of charleston formerly of pt. Pleasant, wv passed away february 4, 2017 at the hubbard hospice house, charleston, wv.

Joseph had retired from goodwill, in the kanawha valley. He was raised in pt. Pleasant and came to the kanawha valley later in life. He was a graduate of pt. Pleasant high school and played bass for country roads band in wv.

He is preceded in death by his parents, marvin and wilma bennett of pt. Pleasant; brothers,

pete, sam, and rick and buck bennett; sister, ruthie stergeon.

He is survived by his children; kathie (michael) allensworth of mason, wv, gina bennett, poca, wv, robby bennett of pt. Pleasant, wv; sister, betty hall of logan, wv, and saundra lavigne of cross lanes, wv; special loving companion, joyce stone, of charleston, wv; six grandchildren; and ex-wife, candace bennett.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
