Obituary
Lana lou hay, 76, of sissonville, passed away on tuesday, july 11, 2017.
She was born august 24, 1940, in logan, wv, the daughter of the late james f. And nazha ammar.
Lana was a retired beautician. Her first job was doing hair at stone and thomas. She then worked in many beauty shops in the sissonville area. Lana loved being around people and shopping. If there was a deal, she made sure she got the best deal. Lana enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. A loving wife, mother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lana is survived by her husband of 54 years, randy; son, jonathan, his wife tammy and their two children, jacob and amber of charlotte, nc; daughter, ann, her husband bill, their two children, allie and ben of cross lanes; sister nancy of beckley; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lana was the beloved “nena” to her grandchildren and their friends.
Celebration of lana’s life will be at 4:00 p.M., friday, july 14, at aldersgate united methodist church in sissonville with pastor loretta isaiah officiating. There will be visitation of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers (lana never cared for flowers, anyway), memorial contributions may be made to aldersgate united methodist church or made to hospice care, 1606 kanawha blvd. W., charleston, wv 25387.
