Obituary

Larry D. Caswell, 73, of Charleston, WV, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at home with family and friends.

He was born in Charleston on Wednesday, October 29, 1952, to the late W.O. and Oralene Caswell of Teays Valley, WV. A graduate of South Charleston High School, Larry went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from West Virginia University.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Jane Caswell; sons, Larry Dale Caswell Jr. (Erin) of Camus, WA, William Allen Caswell (Kirsten) of Pittsburgh, PA, Paul Richard Caswell (Jessica) of West Point, MS, and Christopher Michael Caswell (Sara) of Charleston, and grandchildren, Victoria, Rebecca, William, Charles, Soren, Inara, and Piper Caswell.

Larry was an avid photographer, woodworker, and beekeeper. He greatly enjoyed attending Boy Scout meetings and camps with his four sons, who are all Eagle Scouts.

Per Larry’s wishes, no service will be held.
