Obituary
Larry Dwayne Hall, 79, of Charleston, WV, passed away on January 12, 2026, at Hill Top Nursing Home in Oak Hill, WV.
He was born on August 14, 1946, in Bud, WV, to parents Arthur J. Hall and Catherine M. (Sizemore) Hall.
A graduate of Herndon High School in Wyoming County, he went on to earned an associate degree in accounting from Beckley College. Larry began his career with the State of West Virginia’s Department of Health & Human Resources, retiring after 40-plus years of service.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents.
Larry is survived by his sister, Kay Medley (Larry) of Charleston; one nephew, Clay Medley (Holly) of Pinch, WV; three great-nephews, Reed, Hayes, and Corbin, and finally, a great-niece, Ainsley.

I worked with Larry at the DHHR in the 1970’s. He was the life of the office back then. I’m sorry to see that he had been in a nursing home. I’m so glad you had a picture of him. I hope he had a good life. ♥️
