Obituary
Louvernia gay clendenin, 78, of charleston, passed away at the hubbard hospice house on friday, december 19, 2014.
She was a nurse and had worked for in home care, charleston.
Louvernia was a lifelong resident of charleston, a graduate of stonewall jackson high school and was a member of the charleston mountain mission church.
She enjoyed gardening, knitting and making blankets.
Louvernia will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who also had a great love of her pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, george e. Clendenin; and 2 sons, randy e. And alan r. Clendenin.
She is survived by her children, deborah s. Cordell of huntington and jimmy clendenin of charleston; sisters, shirley hughes of charlotte, nc and caroline hicks of sissonville; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.M. Tuesday, december 23, 2014 at barlow bonsall funeral home, charleston. burial will follow at cunningham memorial park, st. Albans. friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
