Obituary
Maddox “Mad Dog” Potter, 16, of South Charleston, WV, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, at home surround by his loving family. His family feels the love and support of the community and is planning a celebration of his life in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in his memory to Cincinnati Children’s, P.O. Box 5202, Cincinnati, OH 45201-5202 and/or West Virginia Kids Cancer Crusaders, P.O. Box 11029, Charleston, WV 25339. Arrangements are forthcoming. Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Maddox gave me courage when I had given up. id often stop by Mawaw Pam’s when he was in her little pool and he would splash me and laugh. what a blessing and a gift this young man has been to so many.
