Obituary

Malcolm joined the love of his life, elinore, his beloved wife of 60 years while surrounded by family. His memory will live on through his children jeff (leslie), janie stutzman (john), barb and julie. He had eight cherished grandchildren and at last count 38 great grandchildren. He will be remembered by too many friends to count but each was special to him.
He was a man defined by family, faith and humor. He lived and exemplary life where he demonstrated his love through his actions. Malcolm and elinore lived in charleston for over 50 years. They raised their family, owned several businesses and made an impact in the community. Malcolm was active in b’nai jacob synagogue from the chevra kaddisha to peeling potatoes for chanukah latke sale. He drove the shriner van to their hospitals in neighboring states. He and elinore could always be counted on to provide a meal to friend in need or a stranger looking for a family to share the holidays with. His warmth and friendship is one that is cherished by all who knew him. His nine years in richmond involved volunteering at the hospital and michael’s miracle makers.
Malcolm served his family by example, he was a man of integrity. His life lessons continued through his final days. He directed his care and with forethought and with his guidance his family found peace and comfort.
